Interactive Science Online Requiring No Classroom Tools

College kids have known about online courses for quite sometime now. Even though these course often still require the use of an expensive text, they are typically able to save a great deal of time. This type of course is starting to make its way into the pre-college institutions as well.

The development of affordable technology is rapidly changing the way classrooms are being managed around the world and providing opportunities for interactive rather than passive education.

One example is the use of interactive whiteboards, which combine the features of a traditional blackboard with the capabilities of a computer.
